Poem – Enjoy the Ride

Get in

Strap in

Hold on tight

Enjoy the ride

Slowly you ascend towards the heavens

Every movement forward

Is exciting and terrifying all at once

You relax your grip at the top

And take a moment to see the view

With no warming

You fall

Faster and faster

To towards the Earth

Just before you feel you can take no more

You are pulled up 

Spiraling

Looping

Taking your breathe away

Up and down

Round and round

The wind blowing in your face

Making your skin tingle

Just as you begin to smile

And enjoy the ride

You feel the speed slow

And soon you are back 

Where you started

Only with a new hairdo

And a sense of vibration inside
